Common questions

Where does the auction data come from?

From lots that Copart and IAAI list publicly. We keep a copy of each listing and its photos, because the auction sites remove them after the sale.

How soon does a sold car show up?

New lots and price changes usually appear within minutes. Cars that are up for auction or just sold are re-checked every 20 minutes, so the final price shows up shortly after the sale.

What's in a vehicle history report?

Title history and brands, reported accidents and damage, number of owners, service and inspection records, odometer readings and theft checks.

No auction records came up. Is that good?

Usually. It means the car wasn't sold through a Copart or IAAI auction on file. It can still have accidents that never reached an auction, so a history report is worth adding.
